Bamfield has been a hidden oasis on Vancouver Island for centuries, and now is the perfect time to invest in this tiny resort-like town. Resting 2.5 hours west of Port Alberni, Bamfield has been operating at a more relaxing pace compared to the hustle and bustle of the rest of Vancouver Island. When the road was first announced in 2020, the average price of a detached home in Bamfield went up roughly 25%, and this is expected to continue to increase. The province of British Columbia and the Huu-ay-aht First Nation collaborated on the 30.7 million dollar upgrade which is expected to have a largely positive impact on Bamfield and the surrounding small communities. The Huu-ay-aht First Nation has also recently implemented fibre optics and a new water system. The province and local residents of Bamfield can both agree that it is essential to keep the rich history behind Bamfield alive and celebrated while continuing to develop. An easier way in and out will not only help the local economy but also give aid and peace of mind to people living in the communities who may need a quicker and less obstructive route to and from Port Alberni for medical and essential reasons. The expected growth in local business and economy will naturally increase Bamfield properties, which is why now is a great time to consider investing in this seaside village.

Aside from the continuous upgrades in the town, Bamfield has some of the most purified beauty in all of Canada. Bamfield opens up the head of the famous West Coast Trail, which brings in over 7500 hikers annually. Additionally, Bamfiield’s beauty, wildlife, fishing, whale watching, and beaches attract tourists from all over the world. The opportunity to own in such a radiant place, filled with unique history and friendly locals is something to be desired. Untouched areas with exponential potential do not come around often, a new road could be a brand new beginning for Bamfield and those who invest now!
